Ben Pulham is the founder of Coached, a heart rate training programme that helps you optimise, track and enjoy your training.
A former elite triathlete who has represented New Zealand at Triathlon World Championships, World Cups and in the Olympic Trials, Ben is a sought after endurance coach who has worked with thousands of athletes and many global brands including Under Armour, Nike, P&G, Apple, Standard Chartered, Facebook, Cisco and BMW.
Swimming and Running
A native of Finland, Heidi is one of the fastest female runners based in Singapore. An accredited running coach with a passion for motivating others on their running journey, she shares her experiences from a very practical point of view.
The winner of multiple half marathons throughout Asia, Heidi has benefited tremendously from a heart rate based approach to training and is often asked to share advice and tips. This led her to coaching and she’s been passionate about sharing what she’s learned ever since, especially with female runners looking to reach their potential.
Alfred Chen is a former national swimmer with personal best times in 200m of 2:00 and 400m of 4:05 – yes, you read that right, he’s fast.
A skilled technical coach, Alfred has a passion for helping our athletes build confidence in the water and swim faster, with less effort.
With strong ties to elite members of the Singapore swimming fraternity, Alfred is constantly learning and honing his craft, based on the latest in high performance swim coaching.

FAQ: All Your Questions Answered
What does my Coached Triathlon Sessions membership fee include?
Your membership includes full access to our online team coaching membership and access to four weekly group training sessions alongside our coaches.
What time do the sessions start?
Each of our sessions start at 7pm sharp. Please arrive by 6:55pm.
Where exactly at the Botanic Gardens do you meet?
We meet next to the carpark in front of Fusion Spoon Restaurant. The address is Singapore Botanic Gardens, Tanglin Gate, 1 Cluny Road, #B1-00, Singapore 259569.
Do I have to wear a heart rate monitor?
Yes, for the runs! The intensity you train at is extremely important. Heart rate provides an objective way for our coaches to prescribe intensity.
What do I need to bring?
Swims: Outside your usual swimsuit and goggles, you’ll need to bring a pull buoy, paddles and drink bottle for each swim.
Runs: Outside of your usual running gear, all you need to bring a heart rate monitor and drink bottle for each run.
What happens if I can’t make it to a session?
If work gets in the way and you can’t attend a session, you can train on your own following the prescribed session in your online training plan.
