The habit of discipline is essential for success in anything, particularly sport. Learn what discipline is and how to make it a habit.
Motivation is a state that comes and goes. That’s why it’s often called a motivation wave.
Because of this, you can’t rely on motivation, and instead, you should develop the habit of discipline.
Discipline is the act of doing what you’re supposed to do when you’re supposed to do it, in the way it’s supposed to be done.
You develop discipline through action. By doing what you should.
To do that, you need to stop thinking and act.
Will discipline get easier over time?
It doesn’t matter!
It doesn’t matter if it’s easy or hard, you don’t think about it.
Do what you’re supposed to do. And then stay on the path because even though it might not get easier, the rewards will grow, and you’ll soon realise that the discipline you’re imposing into your life is making your life better and giving you more freedom.
